Madeira Film Commission

MFC works directly under the Regional Secretariat for Tourism and Culture.
Its mission is to position and affirm the Autonomous Region of Madeira as a destination for filming and photo shoots, in the national and international route of creation, production and realization of cinema, audiovisual and multimedia.
In order to promote the potential of the Region:
- Acts as a liaison between public and private entities in the Region, in order to streamline and guide legally established procedures;
- Supports Producers, Directors and other entities and professionals in the sector;
- Monitors the development of the work from the planning of prospecting missions until the completion of the shooting;
- Develops initiatives in partnership with a view to developing the sector in the Region and opening it to the market;
- Provides financial incentives necessary for the creation, development and promotion of projects.
