SPi is an independent production company dedicated to international projects and co-productions, and a pioneer of streaming content in Portugal. It produced “Glória,” Netflix’s first Portuguese original (2021). Since 2017, SPi has developed fiction, documentaries, and lifestyle formats with global partners, including “Codex 632” (RTP/Globoplay), “Auga Seca” I & II (HBO Max, RTP, TVG), Disney sitcoms for Angola, “Chegar a Casa,” “Vanda,” and “Motel Valquírias.”

Recent titles include the Icelandic co-production “Cold Haven” (Berlinale 2026), “Lua Vermelha” (Amazon Prime/OPTO), and “Algodão a Frio” (RTP, 2026). SPi also pioneered vertical dramas in Portugal with RTP (2026) and co-produced the award-winning short “Passport” (2025).
