The Portuguese Film Academy and Netflix announce the opening of the “Pitch Me! All In!” competition, a residency program aimed at emerging screenwriters, in which the selected authors will be able to work on the development of their ideas with the guidance of a team of high-level professionals.

“Pitch Me! – All In!” is an initiative developed by the Portuguese Film Academy and Netflix, with the aim of contributing to a greater representation of people belonging to underrepresented segments of the population in the areas of cinema and audiovisual, such as: people with ethnic/cultural diversity, sexual diversity, gender diversity, functional diversity, people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, among others.

The competition, which will be open for applications between July 31 and September 7, will end with the selection of 8 projects (with a minimum of 3 feature films and 3 series projects).
