Marta has just heard the sentence she most feared from her husband Cayetano: “I think this has all been over”. Fifteen years of marriage, two children, a house paid off at the bank and the routine that Marta used to call happiness.
Cayetano, the CEO of a telecommunications company, has filed for divorce and all the signs that Marta ignored for months now make sense: she has been exchanged for a younger manicurist, Lola.
Marta, responsible for communication in Cayetano’s company, decides to resign and move with her children to her parents’ home, Arcos de Valdevez, in the North of the country. Cayetano, on the other hand, has left the family home to go live with his new girlfriend.
This divorce will only be the fall of the first domino that, with its effect, will affect everyone.
