Duarte is a child prodigy who at the age of seven discovers an innate talent for the piano. Through the years, Duarte feels the pressure of becoming a prestigious pianist, carrying the heroic responsibility of fulfilling his gift but also of atoning for the secret wounds of the generations that preceded him, in an affective chain, which started with his parents.
Contrary to expectations, Duarte renounces his gift, trying to sever his link with the interweaving web of past traumas and suffering.
