Caima River

The parish of Palmaz is one of the most rural and green in the municipality, being one of the most desired places for contact with Nature.

The “banks of the Caima River” that border a significant part of the parish are the ideal place for a walk, or a weekend, in perfect harmony with rural reality.

The route between the old Caima paper factory and the Areínho dam, full of color and vegetation, leaves no one indifferent. There are about three kilometers of pedestrian path next to the river that takes your breath away and makes you lose track of time.
