
“Portugal, a chance to meet with the Ibero-American cinema and audiovisual sector” is the conference that takes place on November 28, Tuesday, at 1:00 pm, in Auditorium 1 of Ventana Sur, that happens in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This meeting seeks to promote the development of new projects and encourage opportunities for film and audiovisual co-production between countries. The organization highlights that “international relations enhance economic, cultural and creative exchange among professionals.”
Luís Chaby Vaz, film commissioner and president of the Portuguese Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual (ICA), and Ana Marques, executive director of Portugal Film Commission, are panelists of this conference that will be moderated by Ignacio Catoggio, general coordinator of the Conference of Ibero-American Audiovisual and Cinematographic Authorities (CAACI).
Also under the scope of Ventana Sur and on the same day, Portugal organizes a cocktail that will bring together the Portuguese representation and Ibero-American producers, among other representatives of the sector and institutional guests from the region.
Ventana Sur presents itself as the most important market for audiovisual content in Latin America, promoting international co-production, financing and distribution of Latin American content. This year the event happens between November 27 and December 1 and it is organized by the Argentinian National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Marché du Film – Festival de Cannes.
