Portugal Film Commission and SP Cine will present, next May 13th 2021, at 3PM, the Conference “Atlânticos: Diálogos entre Brasil e Portugal”, an event around experiences, perspectives and projects that have been made in terms of filming and the available incentives.
Motivated by the relationship between both entities and their missions in promoting their countries as filming destinations, this Conference aims to share knowledge and find ways to capitalize resources, going through the similarities and the differences between the experiences, incentives, and existing frameworks.
Taking as a starting point the experiences in both territories in creating conditions to welcome national and international filming, four guest producers were invited to a roundtable: Luís Urbano (O Som e a Fúria), José Amaral (SPi), Vanessa Paraguassú and Beto Gauss (Pródigo Films), to present and discuss their projects and filming processes.
The State Secretary for Tourism, Rita Marques, and the State Secretary for Cinema, Audiovisual and Media, Nuno Artur Silva, will be present in this event.
“Atlânticos: Diálogos entre Brasil e Portugal” is one of the events of the CICLO ONLINE, a Portugal Film Commission that brings together conferences, online sessions, talks, both national and international, around relevant themes for the cinema and audiovisual sector.
This Conference will take place on ZOOM, with live transmission on social media, between 3PM and 5PM. It will be carried out in Portuguese with sign language interpretation (LIBRAS).
