Portugal Film Commission will hold an online conference, “Greenshooting in Portugal” on 15 April 2021, at 3 pm.
Bringing awareness and informing the audiovisual sector for the adoption of sustainable environmental practices, promoting its role as an agent of change towards greener production models, are the objectives of the Portugal Film Commission strategy within the scope of this theme.
As such, in addition to the elaboration of a Greenshooting Guide in Portugal, an ongoing initiative with the collaboration of agents in the sector, this event was deemed necessary, as it aims to lay the foundations for the development and sedimentation of a greater global awareness of the forms management and efficient use of resources, and practices that reduce the environmental impact of the production process.
For this Conference, Portugal Film Commission is pleased to welcome, as a speaker, Green Consultant Dörte Schneider, certified specialist in the field of education and awareness for greener production.
The Conference, to be held online, will last 2 hours, with the following program:
– Welcome and presentation
– The role of PFC in raising awareness of Greenshooting
– Green shooting: main concepts and challenges
– International green shooting initiatives
– Areas of performance in audiovisual production
– Q&A session
Registration is free, and mandatory, open until the 14th of April, via mail@portugalfilmcommission.com. The Conference will be held in Portuguese.
This Conference is part of the Ciclo Online, an initiative by Portugal Film Commission that involves creating moments of interaction in the form of national and international conferences, sessions, online conversations, focused on themes that are relevant to the cinema and audiovisual sector.
