In 2025, the second phase of applications for the Pic Portugal – Cash Rebate Incentive will open on September 29 at 10:00 am and will close on October 29 at 6:00 pm (Lisbon time).
Applications must be submitted through the platform of the Portuguese Film and Audiovisual Institute (ICA), and companies are required to be registered in the National Registry of Film and Audiovisual Entities.
This incentive is aimed at film, audiovisual, and VOD productions, whether national, international, or co-productions. The minimum expenditure in Portugal is 500,000 euros for fiction or animation projects and 200,000 euros for documentary or post-production projects.
