The Portugal Film Commission took part in the latest edition of the Series Mania Forum, held from 25 to 27 March in Lille, France. Over the course of three days, the event brought together writers, producers, commissioners, decision-makers and other professionals from the audiovisual industry.
As part of the Series Mania Forum, the Portugal Film Commission hosted a networking event entitled Portugal – Meet the Producers. Distributors, executive producers, screenwriters and sales agents were among the international participants in this meeting, which served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and potential collaborations between industry players and Portuguese producers.
Fourteen Portuguese production companies attended the Series Mania Forum, presenting projects at various stages of development. Over the three days, the event welcomed around 5,000 accredited professionals from 75 countries – a record for this international forum. The next edition will take place from 24 to 26 March 2026.
