Portugal Film Commission is going to participate in the third Audiovisual Ideas Market of the 47th São Paulo International Film Festival, that takes place between October 26 and 28, at the Cinemateca Brasileira.
The Portuguese participation will host a Happy Hour Visit Portugal (in partnership with Turismo de Portugal in Brazil) on October 26, at 6:00 pm, at the Portugal Film Commission’ stand, in the Foyer Grande Otelo.
“Portugal Film Commission presents: Portugal and Brazil – the possible ties also in audiovisual” is the theme of the roundtable discussion scheduled for October 27, at 12:30 pm, at Auditório Oscarito. Filipa Reis, from the production company Uma Pedra no Sapato, Tathiani Sacilotto and António Ferreira, from Persona Non Grata Pictures, will participate in this roundtable moderated by Ana Marques, executive director of Portugal Film Commission.
The 47th São Paulo International Film Festival takes place from October 19 to November 1, with a program of 365 films from 96 countries. The program comprises the screening of 21 films with Portuguese production or coproduction, in several sections: International Perspective, New Directors Competition, Special Screening and Mostra Brasil. Five of these movies were supported by the Portuguese Cash Rebate.
