In March 2021, the new website of the Portugal Film Commission (PFC) was launched, with new content and a more appealing image.
In addition to the presentation of the PFC, its mission and objectives, a designated area is available to anyone who wants to “Film in Portugal”: legislation and regulations applicable to the sector, the Guide to Filming in Portugal, and the Filming in Portugal Simulator, a new service created to facilitate information and access to administrative requests for any national or foreign citizen who chooses Portugal as a filming destination.
The new website features a Production Guide and a Location Guide, which reflect the quality of the teams and professionals in the area and the diversity of filming locations in the country, respectively.
Also listed are films supported by Cash Rebate, as well as a historical review of films shot in Portugal, starting in 1956.
The PFC website also has a section of FAQs, in the categories: Incentives, General Information, Licenses and Authorizations, Locations, Production and Equipment, Labour Matters, Tax and Customs Matters and Visas.
By accessing the page pic.portugalfilmcommission.com, all the information about the Incentive to Film Capture and Production, the Co-production Agreements and National Financial Support, and the Prospecting Missions (Scouting Program) can be consulted.
