The Portugal Film Commission participated in the second edition of Noronha2B, an international forum dedicated to the convergence between the tourism and audiovisual sectors, which took place in the Brazilian archipelago of Fernando de Noronha from 29 June to 2 July. Ana Marques, Executive Director, took part as a speaker during the forum and as a participant in the institutional and business meetings held throughout the programme.
The event brought together various Brazilian audiovisual production companies, as well as representatives from public institutions, including Joelma Gonzaga, Secretary for Audiovisual at the Ministry of Culture of Brazil, Márcio Tavares, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, and Roberto Gevaerd and Christiano Braga, from the Department of Management and Innovation at Embratur.

The main aim of Noronha2B is to foster a space for dialogue between public entities, managers, and film commissions, with a view to building a collaborative and sustainable future for both sectors.
The participation of the Portugal Film Commission is of particular significance, as the process of establishing a national film commission in Brazil is currently underway. Portuguese representation is key to sharing experiences and strengthening international cooperation at this strategic moment for Brazil’s audiovisual sector.
