The Portugal Film Commission took part in this year’s edition of the Shooting Locations Marketplace, held on 15 and 16 October at the Feria de Valladolid, in Spain.
In total, the event hosted 1.581 business meetings involving participants from 24 countries. The Portugal Film Commission team met with more than 20 international industry professionals, including location managers, scouts and producers.
During these meetings, the Pic Portugal production incentive system was presented, along with the diversity of filming locations available across the country and other factors that position Portugal as a leading destination for film and audiovisual production.
In addition to the business meetings, the event also featured several panel discussions addressing topics such as the work carried out by film commissions and the features that make certain regions attractive for film and audiovisual productions.
The Shooting Locations Marketplace is organised by the Feria de Valladolid and the Spain Film Commission, in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León and the Ayuntamiento de Valladolid.
