The Portugal Film Commission took part in the Noronha2B – Film Commission Forum, held from the 19th to the 23rd of August in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil. The event focused on the relationship between tourism, culture, and sustainability, while also fostering discussions on topics such as internationalisation, governance models, and film tourism.
Ana Marques, executive director of the Portugal Film Commission, was part of the panel on “Attraction Policies: Cash Rebate, Cash Refund, Tax Rebate, and Tax Credit” held on the 21st of August, which also featured Ignacio Curbelo, general director of the Ministry of Tourism of Uruguay, and Victor Hugo from Spcine.
On the 22nd of August, Ana Marques addressed “ESGs in Audiovisual Production: Green Guide and Green Consultant” in a session moderated by Joana Limaverde. It is worth noting that ESG stands for environmental, social, and corporate governance.
The Noronha2B – Film Commission Forum concluded last Sunday with a screening of Pernambuco cinema, followed by a performance by the percussion group Maracatu Nação Noronha.
