Portugal strengthens ties with Ibero-American film and audiovisual

Portugal Film Commission participated in a meeting of Ibero-American film commissions, which took place on November 30, in the frame of Ventana Sur, that happened in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The meeting was promoted by Spcine (Brazil), with the aim of sharing good practices and outlining joint actions for 2024.

In addition to Portugal, the participation of film commissions from Spain, Brazil, Argentina and Costa Rica stands out, countries that stand out in the Ibero-American cinema and audiovisual industry.

Also within the scope of this edition of Ventana Sur, Ana Marques, executive director of Portugal Film Commission, and Luís Chaby Vaz, film commissioner and president of the Portuguese Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual (ICA), participated in a conference on “Portugal, a chance to meet with the Ibero-American cinema and audiovisual sector”.
