The second application period for the Medium-Budget Film and Audiovisual Production Incentive opens on 28 September 2026 at 10h00 and closes on 12 October 2026 at 18h00 (mainland Portugal time).

Applications must be submitted through the Portuguese Institute of Cinema e and Audiovisual (ICA) application platform. Applicants must be registered with the National Register of Film and Audiovisual Entities.

This incentive is aimed at projects with eligible production expenditure below €2.5 million. The minimum eligible expenditure incurred in Portugal is €500,000 per project or €200,000 in the case of documentaries or projects whose production or post-production activities in Portugal do not include filming.
