The next edition of ScriptLab by TorinoFilmLab will pass by Portugal, with its second workshop taking place between 13th and 20th of June 2024 in the country. Apart from the training for fiction feature films in the early stages of development, Portugal will also host ComedyLab, a program on comedies that will welcome experienced scriptwriters and talented comedians.

The professionals interested in the programs should send their applications until the 6th of November. The partnership agreement between Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual (ICA) guarantees the selection of one project from Portugal in ScriptLab 2024, covering its participation in five workshop modules, as well as the participation in TFL’s co-production market.

The selected Portuguese project will receive a tuition fee discount of 50%. Workshop training, online sessions, hotel and lunches during the workshops will be covered by TorinoFilmLab.

This edition of ScriptLab and ComedyLab will count with around 45 international high-profile film professionals, in a partnership between Portugal Film Commission and ICA.
