Winners of the Do(C)ôa Nature Film Festival 2025

Events

In 2025, the Portugal Film Commission once again partnered with the Do(C)ôa Nature Film Festival, an event dedicated to promoting natural, ecological, and cultural values, as well as environmental awareness and tourism in the Greater Côa Valley.

O Uivo do Lobo, directed by Daniel Santos, won the Bruno Navarro Award, offering a compelling reflection on this species and the efforts surrounding its conservation and documentation. Notas sobre Solitude, by Carolina Caldeira, and Vegetalidade, by Frederico Ferreira, took second and third place, respectively.

The festival, focused on environmental and nature-themed short films, aims to showcase, promote, and reward audiovisual works that address pressing environmental issues, regardless of their country of origin.

The Do(C)ôa Nature Film Festival is organised by Rewilding Portugal in partnership with the Côa Park Foundation and in collaboration with the Portugal Film Commission.
