In 2025, the Portugal Film Commission once again partnered with the Do(C)ôa Nature Film Festival, an event dedicated to promoting natural, ecological, and cultural values, as well as environmental awareness and tourism in the Greater Côa Valley.

The application period for the Pic Portugal – Cash Rebate Incentive will begin on March 31 at 10:00 AM. This incentive supports film, audiovisual, and VOD productions, whether national, international, or co-productions.

Hundreds of industry professionals from around the world visited the stand of the Portuguese Film and Audiovisual Institute (ICA) at the Gropius Bau, where they had the opportunity to meet with the Portuguese delegation and learn more about the Pic Portugal incentives.

Portugal has been announced as the Guest of Honour at this year’s edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, which will take place from June 6 to 14. The announcement was made this Sunday at the stand of the CAACI at the European Film Market (EFM).

Following a first season with ten episodes, the podcast is back, bringing journalist Martin Dale together with industry professionals to discuss current trends and challenges.

"18 Holes to Paradise" is the first Portuguese project to be certified by Green Film, an international initiative that recognises environmentally responsible film and television productions. The feature film is supported by Pic Portugal – Cash Rebate Incentive.
